Sala's Camp rests next to the flowing Sand River in the spectacular Mara National Reserve, famous for its prolific wildlife and abundant birdlife.

Set in a shady forest on the edge of the river, this is the perfect vantage point from which to watch the Wildebeest Migration when it happens. Watch as the wildebeest and other animals flounder in the river and pass right by your tent.

The camp is owner managed and creates the traditional safari atmosphere as you sleep under canvas, swap stories around the camp fire and eat under the African stars without having to forgo your luxuries. Each en suite tent is thoughtfully decorated with colonial and African touches and the camp's electricity is solar powered, ensuring enough light in your tent.

Experience exceptional game viewing from the 4WD vehicles or from the air if you opt for a romantic hot-air balloon ride over the Mara. The area around Sala's Camp is also home to the Masaai and their fascinating culture.
